Christmas and New Year

We have special events running on Christmas Day, and New Years eve. The menus are below.


We are also open on our regular opening days (Tuesday - Saturday evenings) with our seasonal menu, for table or group bookings.


We're available for private hire on any of our closed days.

Pork 'Drumstick'

This cut comes from the lower shank - it's braised on the bone for at least 4 hours, making it super tender, and then finished with a sticky sweet and lightly spiced Pineapple and chili glaze.

Pan-Seared King Scallops

Pan-fried King Scallops finished with butter, served with a velvety potato puree and Crispy Bacon. (GF)

We use the soup of the day here to showcase our homegrown, organic produce. All herbs and vegetables used will be at the peak of seasonality and grown within 3 miles of the restaurant. Vegan Option available. (GF Option Available)

Wood Pigeon

Pan Fried Wood Pigeon, Served Pink with Honey roast Beetroot, Red Wine Jus. (GF Option Available)

Goat Cheese and Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms

Portobello Mushrooms filled with a creamy goat cheese and spinach mixture, topped with a light dusting of seasoned breadcrumbs. Red Pepper Chutney. (GF Option Available) (Vegan Option Available)

Venison Meatballs

Homemade Venison and Thyme Meatballs in a rich Tomato and basil Ragu. (GF)

Brussel Sprout and Hazelnut Gnocchi

Gnocchi served with shredded Panfried Brussels sprouts, toasted Hazelnuts. Bathed in Butter then finished with fresh Thyme and Nutmeg.


Chicken Prosciutto Involtini

Chicken breast is rolled with Cream Cheese and Chive, wrapped in prosciutto. Served With New Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, and a Basil Velouté (GF Option Available

Pork Belly with Cherry Sauce

Tender pork belly slices served with a luscious cherry sauce, Dauphinoise Potatoes, and Seasonal Vegetables.

Lamb Rump, Potato Galettes, Mint

8oz British Rump topped with a Herb Crumb, Crispy and Layered Potato Galettes, Mint Pesto, and a Red Wine Jus. +£4 Supplement

Ballotine of Pheasant

Ballotine of Pheasant stuffed with herbs, Sage Bread Sauce, Jus, Dauphinoise Potatoes. Seasonal Vegetables.

Butternut Squash Filo Parcel.

Roasted and spiced Butternut Squash, encased inside a crispy Filo parcel. Served with Seasonal Vegetables and New Potatoes. Vegan option available.

Cauliflower Steak

Cauliflower Steak, Almond-based Creamy Romanesco Sauce, New potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables. (Vegan Option Available) GF Option Available

Sharing 12oz Chateaubriand

Shropshire Sourced 12oz Chateaubriand, served with creamy Dauphinoise potatoes, Peppercorn Sauce, Roasted Shallots, and seasonal vegetables, served Medium Rare on a sharing platter.

Blowtorched Italian meringue, wrapped around a honeycomb ice cream center on a sponge base.

Spiced Pear and Frangipane

Warm Spiced Pear and Frangipane Pudding, cinnamon Ice cream

Banana Tarte Tatin

Upside-down tarte with caramelized bananas and flaky pastry, Sesame Seeds, served with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream

Crème Brulee

Served with homemade Gingerbread.
