Live at 1840: An Evening of Live Jazz

Join us on Thursday 20th August as we launch Live at 1840, a new series of live music evenings in the unique surroundings of our converted 1840 church.

For our first evening, we’ll be joined by professional guitarist Tom Boddisson, performing two sets of sophisticated live jazz guitar from the balcony overlooking the restaurant.

Alongside the music, we’ll be serving a specially created menu of relaxed small plates. Order as little or as much as you like, settle in with a drink and enjoy a different side of 1840.

Live music sets will take place from 7:30pm–8:15pm and 9pm–9:45pm.

Our small plates menu will be available to order until 9pm, when the main kitchen will close for the evening. Desserts will continue to be available after 9pm, so you can settle in with something sweet and a drink while enjoying the final live set.

A £5 per person deposit is required to secure your booking. This will be deducted in full from your final bill on the evening.

We’re incredibly excited to bring live music to 1840 for the first time and see our historic building filled with a completely new kind of atmosphere.
